Hindustan College of Arts & Science was founded in 1995 by the late educationist, philanthropist, and visionary Dr. K.C.G. Verghese. As a leading Arts & Science College in Chennai, HCAS stands as a proud unit of the Hindustan Group of Institutions, affiliated to the University of Madras. The institution is accorded Minority Status by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions, Government of India.
The college currently offers 16 Undergraduate courses, 9 Postgraduate programmes, and 3 Ph.D. Research programmes, ensuring comprehensive academic pathways for students seeking excellence in higher education.
